Biography
A graduate of the École des Avocats, Sophie Duval is a Partner and General Counsel at Founders Future. With extensive expertise in financial, banking and corporate law, she leads the legal, regulatory and financial departments of Founders Future.
Before joining Founders Future, Sophie worked for more than four years as a lawyer at the Parisian law firm Coblence Avocats, where she advised a diversified clientele — investment funds, founders, companies — on complex issues of Private Equity, M&A and restructuring. She also enriched her career at the Toulouse Financial Prosecutor's Office, where she contributed to major cases, in particular in financial criminal law, thus refining her approach in the analysis and management of legal-financial risks.
With a vision that is both strategic and operational, Sophie is recognized for her rigor and commitment. It ensures a solid and secure legal framework for Founders Future's activities, by developing the solutions best suited to the challenges of the company, the funds it manages and their portfolio companies, while ensuring the compliance of projects with regard to regulatory changes.
